After rumours of a rift between the couple, Hollywood duo Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky made an appearance at the Academy Awards.
The 96th Academy Awards was a star-studded affair that took place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, with several Hollywood A-listers attending the red carpet in the best looks. This year’s award ceremony saw a lot of epic red carpet moments including a surprise pregnancy reveal by Vanessa Hudgens followed by jaw-dropping looks from fashion mainstays like Margot Robbie, Zendaya, Emma Stone, and Carey Mulligan among others. Joining the list of celebrities at the awards show, Chris Hemsworth also made a dazzling entry with his wife Elsa Pataky, turning a lot of heads on the red carpet.
After rumours of a rift between the couple last year, Hemsworth and Pataki’s adorable moment on the red carpet cleared the air, giving relief to fans. Posing together on the Oscars red carpet, the couple looked amazing as they also indulged in some heartwarming PDAs.
While posing for pictures, Chris and Elsa were seen hugging and kissing as the Avengers star had his arm around his wife.
While the actor looked dashing as ever in a black suit paired with a white shirt, Elsa also looked amazing in a plunging white gown with a sequinned trim. Prior to their red carpet appearance, the couple was also spotted at the pre-Oscars party over the weekend, looking all happy together.
Notably, their appearance came months after a lot of speculations were made last year concerning the couple after the two went on separate trips with their children. While Elsa took the couple’s twin sons Tristan and Sasha to Japan, Hemsworth went to Iceland with his daughter India.
As fans continued sharing their concerns on social media, the Hollywood duo later shut down the rumours by sharing some happy pictures from a family vacation in Fiji.

In an epic reunion at the Academy Awards, Chris Hemsworth had a pleasing reunion with his Avengers co-star Robert Downey Jr. In videos going viral on social media, the 58-year-old Marvel star was joined by Robert Downey Jr., posing on the red carpet together. Quite happy and excited upon meeting each other, the two happily posed for the cameras and also shared a warm hug.
In the meantime, Hemsworth took part in the ceremony as a presenter with his Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga co-star Anya Taylor-Joy. The two gave out the Oscar for Best Animated Short and Best Animated Feature.
