Violence erupted in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur on Friday when a group tried to force shopkeepers to close shops at a popular city market over alleged objectionable remarks about Prophet Muhammad in a TV show.
India Today spoke to one of the rioters. He said that he has got an order to print 20 posters. Shankar said, “I got the order at 9 pm. I printed it and gave it to him.”
