Oppo: Oppo, Xiaomi to launch MediaTek Dimensity 9000 powered smartphones next year – Times of India

MediaTek Dimension 9000 It has been in the news for offering top-notch performance and benchmark scores. The chipset was announced last month to showcase all-new features and performance improvements.
The company did not reveal the smartphones or brands that will adopt the new chipset. However, almost a month after the SoC was unveiled, MediaTek has spilled some details on it.
The company has now confirmed that the smartphone Opposition, Vivo, Xiaomi And Honor will launch smartphones with Dimensity 9000 chip from Q1 2022.
Xiaomi and Oppo have also confirmed this. But there is no confirmation from Honor and Vivo so far.
According to Android Authority, OPPO’s Vice President of Smartphone Product Henry Duan has mentioned that the Find X flagship smartphone will be powered by the Dimensity 9000 chipset.
“This is a premium device that brings together many cutting-edge features in one device and we know users will be impressed by its breakthrough performance and outstanding energy efficiency,” Duan said.
Oppo Find X3 Pro launched, looking at the previous generation Oppo Find X3 smartphone dragon picture 888 SoC, however, the company opted for the Snapdragon 870 for the regular Find X3. We can expect the Dimensity 9000 to power the Oppo Find X4, while the Pro version could feature the latest Snapdragon.
Redmi General Manager Lu Weibing has also confirmed that the Redmi K50 family will come with MediaTek 9000 chipset. Taking cues from the Redmi K40 series, the regular variant was powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 870, while the Pro Plus variant had Snapdragon 888. Most likely, Redmi will use the Dimensity 9000 in the regular version.
