Opposition has launched ColorOS 12 Operating System Public Beta for your Smartphone globally. What is the new OS based on? Android 12 And will first come to the Find X3 Pro devices in Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia. It will debut in the Indian market from November 2021 along with the Reno series – Reno 6 Pro 5G, Reno 6 Pro Diwali Edition, and Reno 6 5G.
According to the company, the new operating system features soft icons, animations and an information framework that is compatible with different languages and cultures. It is included in Material U along with many stock Android features like a wallpaper-based theme system. The company claims that code decoupling efforts in ColorOS have reduced system aging by 2.75% over 3 years, with an average of 30% less memory occupation and 20% lower battery consumption.
The OS also has practical features such as 3-finger translation powered by Google Lens and Phone Manager.
In terms of privacy, the update comes packed with security and privacy features from Android 12, including a privacy dashboard, approximate location sharing, and microphone and camera indicators. It also inherits features such as Private System, Private Safe, App Lock and others developed within the Oppo team.
The new OS supports 67 languages including 13 major Indian languages. The company aims to bring ColorOS 12 to over 110 models with 150 million users.
In addition, the company has guaranteed three major Android updates for its flagship Find X series devices and two Android updates for the Reno/F and some A series models.
