Ghaziabad: Minister of State for Defense Ajay Bhatt said on Thursday Operation Ganga It is progressing successfully and four Union Ministers are looking after every aspect of evacuation operations in various neighboring countries of Ukraine.
They welcomed the Indian nationals rescued from Ukraine and who arrived on the fourth day Indian Air Force (IAF) aircraft at Hindon airbase near Delhi.
“I welcome you all on your safe return to the homeland… Prime Minister Modi himself is monitoring all developments,” Bhatt told Indian citizens on the flight.
Speaking to ANI, Bhatt said, “We are looking after every student returning from Ukraine. Our four Union Ministers are looking after every aspect of evacuation operations in various neighboring countries of Ukraine. Operation Ganga is progressing successfully. Used to be.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had issued orders to the Air Force to join the rescue operation to raise the level of Operation Ganga.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday chaired a high-level meeting on the issue. Union Ministers S Jaishankar, Piyush Goyal, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla and other officials attended the meeting.
For the past few days, the Prime Minister has been presiding over important meetings on the issue. Russia began military operations in Ukraine on February 24, three days after Moscow recognized separate regions of Ukraine – Donetsk and Luhansk – as independent entities. Britain, the United States, Canada and the European Union have condemned Russia’s military operations in Ukraine and imposed sanctions on Moscow. These countries have also pledged to help Ukraine with military aid to fight Russia.
The US, Canada and European allies agreed to remove major Russian banks from the interbank messaging system, SWIFT, meaning Russian banks will not be able to communicate securely with banks beyond Russia’s borders. President Putin has also signed a decree on special economic measures against the US and its allies.
