OPD: 15 more suspected dengue cases in Lucknow | Lucknow News – Times of India

Lucknow: Even after 15 suspected cases of dengue were reported from the city through Rapid card Testing in outpatient departments (OPD) a 55-year-old resident of three major hospitals kaiserbagh but died Balrampur Emergency at the hospital on Tuesday afternoon, reportedly due to fever.
Out of these 15 patients, five reported from the OPD of Dr. SPM Civil Hospital, six tested positive for dengue in the card test. Lokbandhu Combined Hospital and four in the OPD of Balrampur Hospital. Everyone was given medicine and sent home.
Chief Medical Superintendent of Civil Hospital Dr SK Nanda said that if the patients return with persistent fever and symptoms, their sample will be sent for ELISA test.
Meanwhile, the family of the patient who died at Balrampur Emergency Hospital said that he was suffering from fever and diarrhea for two days and was under the care of a local doctor. He was rushed to the hospital on Tuesday as his condition deteriorated and he could not be saved.
