The OnePlus Buds Z2 is launched with 11mm dynamic drivers and comes with a triple mic setup on each earbud, which is said to analyze ambient sound in surroundings. The earphones come with active noise cancellation and offer up to 40dB of noise reduction for better communication. There’s also a transparency mode that lets ambient noise in so users can be aware of their surroundings.
The OnePlus Buds Z2 comes with touch controls for playback and calls and has an IP55 dust and water resistance rating. However, the charging case only comes with IPX4 water resistance and is not dust proof.
The earphones use Bluetooth v5.2 for connectivity and offer a low latency of 94ms, compared to the 103ms latency of its predecessor, the OnePlus Buds Z. The earphones each come with a 40mAh battery and a 520mAh battery on the charging case. It is claimed to provide up to 38 hours of combined playback time including the charging case.
The OnePlus Buds Z2 was launched alongside the OnePlus 9RT which comes as the company’s first offering in India for 2022. OnePlus 9RT Comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM and comes with triple rear cameras and 120Hz refresh rate display.
