OnePlus Buds: OnePlus Buds Z2 with ANC launched in India at Rs 4999, key specifications of OnePlus’ most affordable earbuds – Times of India

oneplus has launched its second generation earbuds, oneplus buds Z2, in India. The TWS earbuds with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) feature were launched in China, the US and some European markets last year. The new wearables are claimed to offer superior sound quality at an affordable price. OnePlus Buds Z2 are the heirs of the original oneplus buds z TWS earbuds that were launched in 2020.
OnePlus Buds Z2: Price and Offers
The price of OnePlus Buds Z2 is Rs 4,999. The first sale of Red Cable on OnePlus.in and OnePlus app will start from January 17. The open sale of OnePlus Buds Z2 will start from January 18. The earbuds will be available on the OnePlus website, the OnePlus app, and on Amazon. The TWS earbuds will be available in two color options – Obsidian Black and Pearl White.
OnePlus Buds Z2: Specifications
In terms of looks and design, the OnePlus Buds Z2 looks similar to its predecessor. But with the new earbuds also come important updates. OnePlus Buds Z2 is equipped with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). OnePlus claims that the earbuds can deliver up to 38 hours of playback time. Each earbud sports a 40mAh battery. According to the company, the earbuds can last up to 5 hours with ANC and up to 7 hours without ANC.
The charging case of OnePlus Buds Z2 houses a 520mAh battery. The company claims that this case offers quick charging and can give up to 5 hours of playback in 10 minutes of charging.
OnePlus Buds Z2 comes with 40dB ANC. There is also a transparency mode on the earbuds. It has a three-mic setup for noise and wind reduction. It is equipped with an 11mm dynamic driver and supports Dolby Atmos. For connection, it comes with Bluetooth version 5.2. Another feature of the new earbuds is that it offers an IP55 rating and is dust and water resistant.
The TWS earbuds also have touch controls that can be used to change tracks, answer calls, trigger a voice assistant, or change the ANC mode. Non-OnePlus smartphone users can further customize the earbuds’ settings through the Hemelody app. It is worth noting that the same app is used to pair the Oppo earbuds.
