New Delhi: oneplus May soon launch its latest 9-series smartphone. The smartphone maker has now teased the launch of its upcoming smartphone – OnePlus 9RT. The company’s co-founder Pete Lau posted the teaser of the upcoming smartphone on Weibo. The teaser posted online clearly mentions the name of the upcoming OnePlus smartphone. Various online rumors suggest that the company will launch the smartphone on October 15. It is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor and borrow its design from the OnePlus 9R.
Pete Lau posted a brief history of the OnePlus T series on Weibo. The shared teaser starts with the launch of the OnePlus 3T in 2016 and has the OnePlus 8T as the latest model. The post also reveals that the upcoming OnePlus T series smartphone will come with a new and unique name which is said to be – OnePlus 9RT.
It concluded suggesting that more details would be confirmed on Friday (October 8). However, Wiebo did show a post revealing the name of the smartphone which will be the OnePlus 9RT.
Expected Specifications of OnePlus 9RT
The OnePlus 9RT is said to come with a 6.55-inch AMOLED FHD+ screen. The phone can offer a refresh rate of 120Hz. It is likely to pack a 4500mAh battery and could offer fast charging support along with a 65-watt adapter.
On the camera front, the phone is rumored to come with a 50MP primary camera at the back. It can be paired with a 16MP secondary camera and a 2MP third sensor. For selfies, the phone could feature a 16MP camera on the front.
It is expected to pack up to 12GB of RAM. The storage of the device is estimated to be up to 256GB.
Expected price of OnePlus 9RT
According to a report by tipster Digital Chat Station, the OnePlus 9 RT will come with Android 11 out-of-the-box, on top of which will be the company’s new ColorOS 12. The tipster also claims that the OnePlus 9 RT will cost between 2000 Yuan (Rs 23,267) to 3000 Yuan (Rs 35,000).
