Hyderabad: The cabinet sub-committee has decided to send to the cabinet a proposal to introduce English medium from class 1 to 8 in all government schools in the state from 2022-23. academic year, Panel The officials have been directed to take necessary measures to implement the scheme.
The sub-committee set up to study the proposal on English medium and work out modalities for its implementation and to regulate fees in private schools, held a meeting under the chairmanship of Education Minister P Sabita Indra Reddy on Wednesday and decided That they will strengthen the necessary modalities after discussing this issue with the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao,
“Textbooks must be printed telugu and English languages.,” the sub-committee said.
The sub-panel directed the officers to provide training to the teachers so that they are equipped to teach in English medium. The committee members said that the TSAT channel can be used, if necessary, to suggest students in the English language by offering specialized courses.
“With the introduction of English medium, there is also a possibility of increasing admission in government schools. The education department should be equipped to accommodate more students,” the committee said.
As the state plans to introduce digital classrooms, the committee asked the education department to use advanced technology. On fee regulation in private schools, it said the panel will meet once again. Minister Katie Rama RaoT Harish Rao, Erabeli Dayakar Rao attended the meeting.
