On BJP’s foundation day, PM Modi lauds India’s ‘firm stand’ in a divided world, takes a dig at ‘2 types of politics’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday said India is being seen as a nation that can talk about humanity, at a time when the world is divided into two rival factions.

Speaking on the occasion of the 42nd Foundation Day of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), PM Modi said: “Today, India stands before the world with its interests without any fear or pressure. When the whole world is divided into two rival factions, India is being seen as a nation that can speak strongly about humanity.”

He said the BJP’s foundation day was coinciding with the ‘Azadi Ka Amarit Mahotsav’ celebrations and in view of the “fast changing world scenario”, “many new opportunities are emerging for India”.

Praising the BJP, PM Modi said that it is continuously strengthening the resolve of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat”. PM Modi said, “From Kashmir to Kanyakumari, from Kutch to Kohima, BJP is continuously strengthening the resolve of Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat.” ,

The prime minister also noted the party’s victory in the recently concluded assembly elections, saying: “The BJP returned to power a few weeks ago with a ‘double engine’ government in four states. After three decades, no one in the Rajya Sabha has been elected to power. The number of teams has also touched the 100 mark.”

PM Modi further said that there was a time when people had accepted that whatever party government is in place, nothing will happen for the country. “There was disappointment. Today every citizen of the country is proudly saying that the country is changing and moving fast.

In a veiled attack on the Congress party, PM Modi said, “Family parties have never allowed the youth of the country to progress.” “They have always been cheated,” PM Modi said, adding that today “we should be proud that today BJP is the only party which is alerting the country to this problem.

He insisted that the BJP was dedicated to “national bhakti”, while its rivals stood for “parivar bhakti”, and added that every member of the BJP should be proud that the party made it an election issue and denounced the people of dynasty. Was successful in explaining the dangers of politics.

PM Modi further said that parties dedicated to family rule have little respect for constitutional norms and cover each other’s corruption and misdeeds, even though they are active in different states. He did not let the young talent of the country come to the fore without naming any party and betrayed them.

Modi also said that the BJP governments at the Center and in the states, reflecting the motto of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas”, have taken up welfare schemes to reach every beneficiary without any discrimination and favour. The parties in power had earlier practiced vote bank politics in which he said promises were made to some sections of the society while others were ignored, adding that discrimination and corruption were “side effects of this politics”.
