Actor Eijaz Khan has been busy juggling between films, TV and OTT. He was in the limelight after his breakup with actress Pavitra Punia. Recently, he was featured in the web series, Adrishyam – The Invisible Heroes. It starred Divyanka Tripathi and Eijaz Khan in lead roles. He also shared the screen with Shriya Jha in the show. In an interview, he talked about his experience collaborating with Shriya. Eijaz Khan, who was last seen in Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Jawan, talked about fostering genuine relationships that are cultivated off-screen between actors. He said that reflects on their on-screen chemistry and equation. He opened up about his working experience with Shriya Jha and getting to know her well to foster a deeper connection.
Eijaz Khan shared that before the filming began, it was important for him to connect with Shriya. He said, “I wanted to know about her life, her work style and how she approaches roles. We met once, where I told her about my childhood, my hopes and aspirations and my personal identity as it was very crucial for her to know where I was coming from so that we could build a sense of familiarity.” According to him, understanding each other beyond the character gave them a comfort zone which he felt was very essential.
Eijaz Khan further added that genuine relationships off-screen show on-screen. So they worked hard to make their characters bond for real. He had all good things to say about his co-star, Shriya Jha. “Working with Shriya has been great; we complement each other’s performances, making our characters deeper,” he said. He finally concluded that it was a fulfilling journey for him and now he is excited to see how the viewers react to his chemistry with the actress on the show.
Adrishyam- The Invisible Heroes, is an espionage thriller streaming on Sony Liv. It also stars actors like Swaroopa Ghosh, Tarun Anand, Chirag Mehra, Roshnee Rai, Parag Chadha and Zara Khan. It is produced by Sachin Pandey and Aditya Pandey and directed by Anshuman Kishore Singh.
