The state has so far given a total of 3.43 crore doses of vaccines, which includes 1.74 crore doses to males and 1.69 crores doses to females.
More than 32 per cent of the state’s 3.09 crore adult population, which is the target of the ongoing vaccination campaign, has been fully vaccinated. About 79% of the population has received the first dose.
Maharashtra (2.83 crores), Uttar Pradesh (2.66 crores), Gujarat (2.3 crores), Karnataka (2.02 crores), Rajasthan (1.86 crores), West Bengal (1.84 crores) are among the 10 other states with more than one crore complete vaccinations. . , Madhya Pradesh (1.73 crore), Bihar (1.48 crore), Tamil Nadu (1.42 crore) and Kerala (1.23 crore).
Odisha is trying to deliver more than four lakh doses per day. Till 5 pm on Monday, it had used 2.34 lakh doses. Ganjam district has so far vaccinated the highest number of people in the state – 21.66 lakh with one dose and 14.97 lakh with both doses. Deogarh, on the other hand, has vaccinated the least number of people – 2.21 lakh with the first dose and 56,000 with both doses.
