ODI World Cup: Virat Kohli Visits Chinmaya Tapovan Ashram in Dharamshala

Ahead of their ODI World Cup 2023 clash against England in Lucknow, Star batter Virat Kohli was seen visiting the Chinmaya Tapovan Ashram in Dharamsala as Indian players are enjoying a two-day break in the picturesque hill town in Himachal Pradesh.

After its clinical victory over New Zealand on Sunday, the Indian cricket team has been granted a two-day break and they will travel to Lucknow, their next destination for the World Cup, on Wednesday.

In the various pictures, which are being circulated on social media, several Indian cricketers were seen visiting the various attractive locations in the city. Similarly, ace batter Kohli was captured visiting the Chinmaya Tapovan Ashram.

In the picture, which has now gone viral on social media, Kohli was posing in front of the Ashram along with an old lady.

As far his performance is concerned, the 34-year-old Kohli has been in sensational form in the ongoing World Cup. He has scored 354 runs with one impressive century in five matches so far.

The Rohit Sharma led side is the only unbeaten side now and currently leading the points table with five wins in as many games.

They have four more group stage matches to play — that against England in Lucknow on October 29, against Sri Lanka in Mumbai on November 2, against South Africa in Kolkata on November 5, and against the Netherlands in Bengaluru on November 12.

Meanwhile, there is no information available regarding the availability of star all-rounderHardik Pandya, who is currently undergoing treatment for an ankle injury at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru.

Hardik, who sustained the injury in the match against Bangladesh and missed the New Zealand clash, is expected to be fully fit for the England game.
