Actress and Lok Sabha member Nusrat Jahan, who is expecting her first child, took to Instagram stories to share the pregnancy-themed cake she received from her friends. The actress recently posted a picture of her baby bump, but did not officially announce her pregnancy.
On the photo-sharing app, Nusrat shared a picture of a cake with “boy or girl” written on it. She captioned the story with a smiling emoji.

Nusrat recently made headlines for her personal life. She married businessman Nikhil Jain in June 2019. However, recently there were reports that the two have parted ways. When asked if she was getting divorced, Nusrat had said that their marriage was not legal in India.
She gave a statement to ANI, which read, “As per the Turkish Marriage Regulation, being on a foreign land, the ceremony is invalid. It was an inter-religious marriage, it needs recognition under the Special Marriage Act in India which did not happen. According to the Court of Law, it is not a marriage but a relationship or a live-in relationship. Our separation happened a long time ago, but I didn’t talk about it because I wanted to keep my personal life to myself. Thus, my actions should not be questioned on grounds of ‘alienation’ by the media or anyone to whom I am not related. The said marriage is legal, valid and not valid; And thus, marriage was not at all in the eyes of the law.”
Jain initially said that he did not want to comment as the matter was in court. Later, the businessman revealed that he had pressured Jahan several times to get his marriage registered in India, but he avoided these requests all the time.
