Iran, Russia and all five Central Asian countries – Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan – are set to participate in the NSA-level meeting. Afghanistan Which will be hosted by India on 10 November.

The ‘Delhi Regional Security Dialogue on Afghanistan’ will be held at the level of National Security Advisor (NSA) and will be chaired by NSA Ajit Doval.

Sources told News18 that representatives of most of these countries have boarded the special flights and will start arriving in India from Tuesday morning.

The first bilateral talks with Tajikistan and Uzbekistan will be held at the Maurya Sheraton in New Delhi. In the afternoon there will be talks with Russia, Iran and Kazakhstan. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also attend these meetings.

In the evening, NSA Doval will organize a dinner for all the delegates. Sources said that the NSA will leave from New Delhi on Thursday morning.

India has not invited Taliban representatives to the high-level meeting as New Delhi does not recognize the insurgent group-led government in Afghanistan.
