Now the question of a separate North Bengal in the center? John Barla said after getting the ministry

A few days ago the demand for a separate North Bengal or Union Territory was raised. But after becoming a minister, there is a lot in the soft tone of Alipurduar MP John Barler. Asked about his old claim, the MP said he does not want to create any controversy at the moment. The states and the center will work together for the people, that’s what I want. Significantly, the Union Cabinet was reshuffled yesterday. There, John Barla became Minister of State in the Union Ministry of Minorities.

John Barla made such a statement knowing the view and opportunity of the conscious people to soften after becoming Member of Parliament and Minister of Alipurduar. However, politics has started regarding this. In this context, Trinamool General Secretary Partha Chatterjee said that BJP is a strange political party. He has appointed a minister from North Bengal who wants to divide Bengal. Provincial Congress President Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury also set the tone. He said that the BJP will try to influence the voting market tomorrow by raising its voice to make North Bengal a separate state. If the politics of Partition is done with North Bengal, then the people of Bengal will uproot the BJP. Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury said that since the BJP has performed well in North Bengal, it has been decided to appoint a minister from North Bengal to maintain its dominance in those areas.

The state BJP had long been trying to persuade John Barla to keep his mouth shut, realizing that the idea of a political ideology might come to the fore. After finally becoming his minister, his tone has softened a lot. It is noteworthy that shortly after the Trinamool came to power in the state for the third time, the MP from Alipurduar suddenly demanded a separate state by joining North Bengal. Some BJP MLAs also supported that demand.

Meanwhile, a video of the secret camp of Jiban Singh, president of the banned militant organization Kamtapur Liberation Organization, has gone viral on social media. The news has also reached the police. However, State Police IG North Bengal Devendra Kumar Singh said that legal action would be taken to identify those involved in the incident.
