Now Technological University for Indian students in Ireland, 8 campuses set up for over 21000 students

To make learning easier, three universities, Galway Mayo Institute technology (GMIT), Letterkenny Institute of technology (LYIT) and IT have come together to form a multi-campus university for Indian students under Sligo Atlantic Technological University. Atlantic Technological University (ATU) will serve more than 21,000 students and offer more than 600 higher education courses through eight campuses, research centers and iHubs located in the west and north-west of Ireland.

The amalgamation will provide greater learning opportunities for Indian students in several key areas such as research and innovation along with academic strength, global opportunities, the institute said in its press release. In addition, ATU will also provide an opportunity to Indian students to contribute to the cultural and educational infrastructure of the University.
