The Rajput community has appreciated this move.

The Rajput society had been protesting against these incorrect fact inscriptions for nearly 40 years. He thanked Union Minister of State Prahlad Patel for removing the wrong inscription. He said that the country needs such a culture minister who can save the country’s glorious history.

A few days before the cabinet reshuffle, Rajsamand MP Diya Kumari and Rajsamand MLA Deepti Maheshwari had also raised this issue with former Union Culture and Tourism Minister Prahlad Singh Patel and demanded to take cognizance of it at the earliest.

After meeting MP Diya Kumari, Prahlad Singh Patel instructed the ASI to remove these inscriptions immediately. He also said that new inscriptions should be put up with the correct facts. He said that what is right should come in front of everyone, no kind of tampering with history can be allowed.
