Notorious gangster Lawrence Vishnoi arrested: Mobile was found in jail; Inquiry in petrol pump firing case, dozens of cases of murder and extortion registered against Lawrence

Civil Line police station of Ajmer arrested notorious gangster Lawrence Vishnoi for using mobile in jail. Amidst tight security, the police interrogated Lawrence at the Civil Lines station. During this, Lawrence was also questioned in the petrol pump firing case. Lawrence has more than 50 cases of murder, extortion and attempt to murder registered against him in different states of the country and is currently kept in Ajmer High Security Jail.

About a year ago, a case was registered by the jail administration in the matter of getting mobile. After investigation, the police arrested Lawrence from the High Security Jail through a production warrant. The police interrogated Lawrence at the Civil Lines police station and later got him medically administered at the Jawaharlal Nehru Hospital before being produced before the court. During this, tight security arrangements were made in the hospital as well.

Ajmer Superintendent of Police (SP) Vikas Sharma said that Lawrence was arrested in connection with the mobile found in the jail. During this, he is also being questioned in the petrol pump firing case.

Who is Lawrence Vishnoi

Belonging to Fazilka, Punjab, Lawrence Bishnoi’s early studies took place in Fazilka itself. After this his admission was done in DAV College, Sector 10, Chandigarh. There the student came into politics and got popularity. Bishnoi formed the first gang in college itself.

Bishnoi spread his network first to Punjab and Haryana, then to many more states. The first FIR against Bishnoi was registered for attempt to murder. A few days later, in April 2010, there was a second FIR for breaking into a house. A case of assault and phone theft was registered in February 2011. All these cases were related to student politics.

In 2016, Bishnoi was accused of killing a Congress leader. He claimed responsibility for the murder through Facebook. Lawrence Bishnoi got recognition in 2018. Bishnoi as well as Sampat Nehra, against whom the chargesheet has been filed by the Delhi Police, was caught from Bengaluru in June 2018.

Sampath revealed during interrogation that he was about to kill actor Salman Khan. According to Sampath, Bishnoi had given him the task of killing Salman. Lawrence himself belongs to the Bishnoi community, for whom blackbucks are revered. By killing Salman Khan, Lawrence Bishnoi wanted to avenge the killing of those blackbucks.

Lawrence Bishnoi plans to join hands with local gangsters from every state to form a crime syndicate at the national level. The aim was to control the underworld in North India. All this has been revealed in the interrogation of gangster Kala Jathedi, Lady Don Anuradha Chaudhary of Rajasthan by the Special Cell of Delhi Police.

At the behest of Lawrence, this International Crime Syndicate, along with its accomplices based in Mexico, Italy and Thailand, carries out extortion, drug smuggling, land grabbing and murders. They target Bollywood celebrities, Punjabi singers, property businessmen and actors. There is contact from Lawrence to the Italian Mafia through international gangster Goldie Barad and Monty.
