Ishwaranandapuri Swami raises the issue of floods in Bengaluru which affected many a few months back
Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Friday reacted to civic issues in Bengaluru after top seer Ishwaranandapuri Swami criticized him during an event in Bommai’s presence. As Swamy said, Bommai can be seen taking the microphone from him and later giving his stand on the issue.
“I am not only giving assurance, but have also released funds to find solutions to these problems,” Bommai said during the event. This video went viral on social media.
Ishwaranandapuri Swami raised the issue of floods in Bengaluru, which had affected many a few months ago. “We have seen BBMP officials reaching the flood site several times, but there is no permanent solution yet,” he can be heard saying during the programme.
Notably, residents of Mahadevapura in Bengaluru were devastated by the floods a few months ago, and the poor condition of roads and other infrastructure projects is rampant across Bengaluru.
Several apartment buildings in prime areas of Bengaluru were flooded during the monsoon season last year, with parked vehicles being completely submerged in water.
