Congress, which did not support AAP in condemning the arrest of Delhi’s Deputy CM, has now emerged as the lone voice in opposition circles.

In fact, Congress has now emerged as the only voice in the opposition circles which is not supporting AAP in condemning the arrest of Delhi’s Deputy CM.
The Trinamool Congress (TMC) was the first to attack the BJP, when Derek O’Brien tweeted: “If Manish Sisodia had bought himself a BJP-branded washing machine, he would never have been arrested. Bravo Manish.
If @msisodia got myself an A #BJP brand of washing machine, he will never be arrested. Bravo, Manish allies Shiv Sena, Akali Dal, JD(U) TDP and others have all left BJP. CBI, ED, IT remain true allies.

Other parties like Shiv Sena, Janata Dal (U) have also condemned the arrest and interestingly they are allies of Congress. So what is stopping the Congress from supporting AAP in the name of opposition unity?
Cause
There are two reasons.
One, the Congress complains that when the Gandhi family was being probed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the National Herald case, the AAP did not even raise its voice in defence.
Not only this, during the Parliament session, when most of the opposition parties supported the Congress and marched against Rashtrapati Bhavan, you stayed away.
So, for Congress, it is time to take revenge.

The second and most important thing is that the biggest blow to the Congress has come from AAP.
Wherever AAP has developed, it has developed at the cost of Congress. In elections in states like Delhi, Punjab and now Goa, Gujarat and upcoming Karnataka, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan. You only cut the votes of Congress.

According to the Congress, this movement supported by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and the BJP exposed the Congress and resulted in its defeat in 2019.

So, on corruption, if Aam Aadmi Party goes down in public perception, it is time to be vindicated.
