Noida: There is a preparation to build a guest house of the Uttar Pradesh government near the Sector-148 metro station adjacent to the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway. In Sector-148, about 11,000 square meters of land has been identified at par with the powerhouse. 40 thousand square meters of land was sought from the state government. Its design will be decided by the state government, while the construction will be done by the Noida Authority.
At present, there is no official place for ministers and officers of Uttar Pradesh government to stay in Noida-Greater Noida. There is no circuit house here like in other cities of the state. Bijli Ghar has a guest house in Sector-38 of Noida, but it is neither in a big area nor does it have many facilities. Apart from this, the authority has taken some cells from its level, in which officers coming for work related to the authority are appointed.
While Gautam Buddha University in Greater Noida is where the chief minister and other ministers reside. UP Bhavan has been built in Delhi, where ministers live. Now the UP government has asked the Noida Authority to mark the land for building a guest house in Noida itself. On the instructions of the government, the Noida Authority has marked 11,000 square meters of land on the 45 meter road adjacent to the Sector-148 powerhouse.
Noida Authority officials told me that about 40 thousand square meters of land has been sought from the government. At present, 11 thousand square meters of land has been identified and is under the authority’s possession. A proposal has been prepared by the Work Circle and sent to the Planning Department. From here Delhi on one side, Yamuna Expressway on the other side and different parts of UP can be reached in a very short time. Noida Authority’s ACEO Satish Pal says that the state government has not made available the land it had demanded for the guest house. Its information is being sent to the government.
