Noida: Noida Police has retained the first position in Uttar Pradesh In terms of response times for emergency calls on the 112 service for February. They have seen the shortest response time ever by providing assistance to those in distress in 6 minutes 32 seconds.

Noida sees best response time for emergency calls

At present, the Commissionerate has 65 four wheelers and 50 two wheelers for 112 service. A police spokesperson said that on an average 112 service teams receive around 400-450 complaints per day.
“Keeping in mind the safety of women, six women PRVs (police response vehicles) ply in the commissionerate area. For safety and quick response on the highway, four PRVs operate on it Eastern Peripheral Expressway and two on Yamuna Expressway. They ensure prompt action,” the spokesperson said.
Officials said that on February 6, PRV 3037 took action on the information of a three-year-old girl being picked up in Sector-39 police station area.
“The team soon found a drunk man lying unconscious on the side of the road and the girl sitting next to him crying. Eventually the girl was handed over safely to her family members. An official said, the accused was handed over to the local police station for action. Similarly, on February 17, taking prompt action on the information of car theft in Sector-58 police station area, PRV 4672 reached the address given by the caller and saw that some people were running away with his vehicle.
