No vaccine for everyone till December 2021: No time limit for vaccination, not 215 crore by December, only 135 crore vaccine doses will be available

The government has given a written answer to the questions asked by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in the Lok Sabha regarding Corona vaccination. This has also revealed the lack of vaccines. Because the government has said in its reply that only 135 crore doses of the vaccine will be available from August to December. Let us tell you that earlier in May it was said that 215 crore doses would be available between August and December.

Government’s confession in Lok Sabha
The government has also said that in view of the emerging situation of the corona epidemic, the time limit for completing the vaccination drive cannot be fixed. However, people above the age of 18 are expected to be vaccinated by December 2021.

On the other hand, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has also targeted the central government. Kejriwal has said that there is no vaccine, the central government will have to think about how to increase the availability of the vaccine.

So far more than 42 crore doses have been taken in the country
The number of vaccinations in India has crossed 42 crores on Friday. According to the Health Ministry, a total of 42.34 crore doses have been administered so far. In the last 24 hours, 54.76 lakh people have been vaccinated. Vaccination has started in the country from January 16.

If vaccination continues at the current pace, then by when will we meet this target?
It has been 188 days since the vaccination started in the country and till now 33.37 crore people had been given at least one dose of the vaccine. That is, on an average, more than 17.7 lakh people got the vaccine every day. This is about 23% of the current population. If this pace continues, then it will take time till the beginning of March 2023 for every citizen of the country to apply at least one dose of the vaccine.
