#Kolkata: The National Institute of Virology gave this information after examining samples of students sent from West Midnapore to Pune and not monkeypox. That means there is nothing to worry about. A student was admitted to a private hospital in Kolkata on suspicion of having monkeypox. After returning from Europe, the student, a resident of West Midnapore, started treatment at a private hospital near EM Bypass. The samples were tested in early June after a five-year-old girl from Uttar Pradesh suspected of being infected with monkeypox.
