‘No India without Hindus, no Hindus without India’: RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat

New Delhi: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Saturday claimed that there is no India without Hindus and there are no Hindus without India.

He further said that India and Hindus are inextricably linked.

Addressing an event in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, the RSS chief said, “There is no India without Hindus and there is no Hindu without India.”

He said, “India stood on its own. This is the essence of Hindutva. That is why India is a country of Hindus.”

When asked about the partition of India, Bhagwat replied, “India split after partition, and Pakistan was born. It happened because we forgot the fact that we are Hindus. It was forgotten by the Muslims. Power The number of people identifying as Hindus has dwindled, and their numbers have also dwindled. As a result, Pakistan is no longer India.”

The RSS chief further said that the Hindu population is declining.

He further said, “You will see that the numbers and strength of Hindus have diminished or the spirit of Hindutva has diminished. If Hindus want to remain Hindus, India has to become ‘Akhand’.”
