Nita Mukesh Ambani worked traditional Indian threads in her cutting-edge Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla outfit.

Educationist, philanthropist, and businesswoman Nita Mukesh Ambani and mother-to-be groom Anant Ambani brought glitz and glam to Anant and Radhika Merchant’s Gol Dhana ceremony on January 19.
The epitome of grace, Neeta Abu Jani looked divine in a beige gold ghagra by Sandeep Khosla. The state-of-the-art ghagra was hand-embroidered with an array of sequin blocks with zardozi work, chikankari, patola silk, crystals and burnt orange gold borders. The burnt orange colored blouse in raw silk complemented the traditional silhouette and was covered in intricate sequin work.
Adding zest to the traditional silhouette was a dupatta of sorts covered in sequins highlighting the patola pattern along with the pallav in resham work with zardozi border. Each color tone played the perfect canvas for the intricate thread work to accentuate and accentuate Neeta’s overall look. She accessorised with traditional diamond jewellery. The ensemble not only complemented Nita’s elegant personality, but also set the tone for the upcoming wedding season.
Celebrity makeup artist Mickey Contractor, who did Neeta’s minimal make-up, focused on her expressive eyes and completed the look with a red bindi. With her hair neatly tied in a low bun and completely covered with flowers, Neeta added a hint of sparkle with maang tikka which elevated her simple yet chic hairdo.
Nita Mukesh Ambani was joined by her daughter Isha Ambani Piramal and daughter-in-law Shloka Ambani, who also wore stunning outfits designed by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. Keeping the color tones pastel and muted, the Ambani women complemented each other with their charming personalities. While Isha opted for an ivory white Indo-Western silhouette, Shloka added some bling to her pastel lehenga set. The trio welcomed Radhika Merchant with open arms, who looked beautiful in a gold ghagra designed by the designer.

The Gol Dhana ceremony was attended by several celebrities, who wore the attire of the Nine. They included Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Katrina Kaif, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Gauri Khan, John Abraham, Sachin Tendulkar, Neetu Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Khushi Kapoor, Karan Johar, Manish Malhotra, Kiran Rao, Sara Ali .
