NIOS Classes 10, 12 Exam Fee Submission Deadline Extended, Check Details

The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has extended the deadline for submission of class 10th and 12th examination fees for the April-May 2023 session. As per the latest update, the NIOS 10th and 12th public exam fee, with a late fee of Rs 100 per subject, can be paid till February 6. While the last date for depositing a consolidated late fee of Rs 1,500 per subject by eligible learners has also been extended to February 15.

NIOS closed its application registration window for class 10 and 12 public examination 2022 on January 17 without any late fee. Candidates can submit their application form with late fee through official portal sdmis.nios.ac.in. Students need to log in through their 12 digit enrollment number to take necessary action. NIOS Board opened the Public Exam 2023 Registration Portal from 1st December to 28th January for April-May session without late fee.

Exam Fee: Rs.250 per subject (Theory)

Additional fee for practicals in both theory and practical subjects: Rs 120 per subject

An additional fee of Rs 50 will be charged for each transaction

For all eligible learners with late fee of Rs.100 per subject: From 29 January to 6 February.

For all eligible learners from February 7 to February 15 with a consolidated late fee of Rs 1,500 per learner.

NIOS declared that candidates must have a gap of at least two years between passing 10th and 12th. “Not to collect examination fee for more than 4 subjects for public examination for senior secondary courses to be held in April-May 2023 session,” the board said in a statement. Meanwhile, the result of learners depositing fee for more than four subjects will not be declared if the mandatory gap of two years is not completed, the notice said.
