Nimrat Kaur writes a heartfelt note as she wraps up Dasvi: ‘See you in films’

Actress Nimrat Kaur has completed the shooting of her upcoming film ‘Dasvi’. Directed by newcomer Tushar Jalota, Dasvi is written by Ritesh Shah, who is known for films like Pink and Batla House.

Nimprat wrote a long post on Instagram and shared his experience of working for the film. “There are unforgettable roles in an actor’s life and there are so many unexplored places that come with it. Rarely do the two meet. Bimala Devi Choudhary (aka Bimmo) is a gift that will live on in my heart forever.” The happiest, most exciting and fun place I got to explore through a part so exhilarating and lovingly handed over!! I miss her already… and can’t believe it May the journey that started for me 10 months ago finally came to the culmination of its happiness in some of the most surreal times of all our lives. Nothing but all the steady pillars of #TeamDasvi,” she wrote.

With this, Nimrat, who previously entertained the audience with her roles in the films ‘The Lunchbox’ and ‘Airlift’, posted a few pictures from the sets of ‘Daasvi’, in which she is seen wearing an ethnic suit.

Directed by Tushar Jalota, ‘Dasvi’ also features Abhishek Bacchan and Yami Gautam. It is an upcoming project by the makers of ‘Hindi Medium’, ‘Angrezi Medium’ and ‘Bala’, and is touted as a social comedy.
