NEW DELHI: ‘Bigg Boss 14’ fame Nikki Tamboli has tested positive for COVID-19.
On Saturday, Nikki shared her health update with her fans and followers on Instagram.
She posted, “Hello everyone, I have tested positive for Covid-19 with overwhelming symptoms. After confirmation, I have isolated myself, where I am taking necessary precautions.”
Nikki also requested those who came in contact with her to get themselves tested.
“It is a humble request to all those who came in contact with me to get themselves tested at the earliest and continue to ask people to wear masks and follow COVID protocols,” he urged.
As soon as Nikki opened up about her COVID-19 diagnosis, netizens wished her a speedy recovery in the comments section.
Actor Abhinav Shukla commented, “Oh! Get well soon Nikki.”
One social media user wrote, ‘Take care Nikki.
Meanwhile, India reported 17,070 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, informed the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Friday. A few weeks back, several other celebrities including Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Kartik Aaryan contracted COVID-19.
