Nifty: Nifty 50 hits record high as auto, energy stocks bounce – Times of India

Energy stocks rose more than 1%, driven by oil and natural gas corporationjumped 5.5% to a two-year high. The stock also rose the most on Nifty 50.
Auto stocks rose 0.7% after media reported that the government would consider a production-linked stimulus plan for specific sectors of the sector at a cabinet meeting on Wednesday.
