The Indian Investigation Agency (NIA) has registered an FIR against 7 people of D Company, including underworld don Dawood Ibrahim and Chhota Shakeel. The investigation agency claims that these people are involved in terrorist activities in India and have connections with Pakistan-based terrorist organizations Jaish-e-Mohammed, Jamaat-ud-Dawa and Al Qaeda. Dawood Ibrahim is considered to be the mastermind of the 1993 Mumbai blasts.

An NIA public relations official said that after getting approval from the Ministry of Home Affairs, all of them have been booked under sections 17, 18, 20, 21, 38 and 40 of the Un-Law-full Activity Prevention Act (UAPA).

According to the NIA, Dawood’s name is also in the list of global terrorists. He is accused of arms smuggling and supplying arms to terrorists. An NIA official said that after leaving India, Dawood has helped those people who are working at his behest to create unrest across India through hawala channels.

D company’s hand in creating riot-like situation in India
According to the NIA, Dawood along with Chhota Shakeel, Javed Chikna, Iqbal Mirchi and others built his network in India. The people involved in the network have been targeting high-profile people, politicians and businessmen by running sleeper cells in India.

The NIA officer said, “Earlier, a lot of information was shared with us about Dawood’s involvement in several anti-national activities that took place across India. He is recruiting people in India and helping them to create riot like situation economically and logistically. Various social media platforms are being used by them to communicate. We intercepted some of them and came to know that a deep conspiracy was being hatched. Based on the material available now, we have registered an FIR against Dawood and D-Company.

Network got a boost through social media
According to the NIA, Dawood uses social media to interact with his henchmen in India and strengthen his network. Agency officials also intercepted some of these communications. The NIA found in its investigation that a big conspiracy was being hatched to carry out terrorist activities in the country.

Dawood’s close aide Abu Bakr arrested in UAE
Recently, the Indian Investigation Agency has achieved a major success by arresting the most wanted terrorist of 1993 Mumbai blasts Abu Bakr from UAE. This arrest has been made in collaboration with UAE agencies. According to reports, soon Abu Bakr will be brought to India.

Abu Bakr is considered close to underworld don Dawood Ibrahim. Operation was going on for a long time for his arrest. For the past several days, information was being received that he was hiding in Pakistan and UAE.

1993 Mumbai blasts happened at the behest of Dawood
The Mumbai blasts on 12 March 1993 shook the entire nation. The first of the 12 blasts on this day took place outside the Bombay Stock Exchange building. At that time more than 2000 people were present in that building. 45 minutes later there was a second explosion. This time the blast took place in the parking lot of Air India building, not far from the stock exchange. After the blast, bodies were piled up all around. After this 10 more blasts took place in different parts of Mumbai.
