The National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted raids at 16 places in Jammu and Kashmir in connection with the publication of ‘Voice of Hind’ magazine and the recovery of IEDs. On Sunday, the agency raided nine places in Srinagar, Anantnag, Kulgam and Baramulla. The NIA raided the house of Naeem Ahmed Bhat, a resident of Aripora Jewan, the driver of Hassan Road Construction Company. At the same time, the house of Mushtaq Ahmed Dar in the rebel Nand Singh Chattabal was also raided. During this, five mobile phones were recovered from the suspects.

The online monthly magazine named VOH is being published since February 2020. Its publishers are accused of pushing Muslim youths in the Valley towards radicalization through magazines. Those running this jihadi magazine had been dodging the investigating agency for a long time. This website is being operated through different VPN numbers.

ISIS related material being shared online
In connection with this conspiracy of terrorist organization ISIS, a case was registered on June 29 this year. There is a plan to radicalize Muslim youth in the country to wage violent jihad against India. NIA said that ISIS terrorists are operating from different places in India. They have created a network of their own by creating a fake-online identity. Through this, materials related to ISIS are being shared.

NIA has conducted raids in Jammu and Kashmir and Karnataka in the past as well.
The NIA had conducted several searches in Jammu and Kashmir on July 11 this year in the same case. During this three accused – Umar Nisar, Tanveer Ahmed Bhat and Rameez Ahmed Lone were arrested, who are residents of Achabal area of ​​Anantnag district. The NIA had also raided two places in Bhatkal, Karnataka and arrested Jufri Jawahar Damudi, the main accused in the ISIS-VOH case.

TRF commander Sajjad Gul’s house also raided
It is being told that the house of Commander Sajjad Gul of The Resistance Front (TRF) has been raided. The case of TRF is related to Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist caught with 5 kg IED in Bhatindi, Jammu. The raids were conducted in Jammu and Kashmir in connection with the NIA probe into Lashkar-e-Taiba’s plan to blast IEDs in Jammu. The raid took place hours before the drone attack on an Indian Army base on June 27. The Jammu and Kashmir Police has detained 570 people from the Valley after terror attacks on civilians in the last one week.
