Fans of Tamil star Vijay are eagerly waiting for his next film, Thalapathy 66. Features of the film, directed by Vamshi Paidipally Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead. The makers of the film wrapped up a big schedule in Hyderabad a few weeks back. Now according to the reports, the Chennai schedule of Thalapathy 66 is going to start soon. A major schedule of Thalapathy 66 was shifted from Hyderabad to Chennai after the Film Employees Federation of South India (FEFSI) requested Thalapathy Vijay to help his workers. As a result, a huge set has been erected in Chennai for the shooting of the film and the next schedule of the film will start soon. Shooting in Chennai will continue for the next few weeks.
According to reports, the shooting in Chennai will begin with a song sequence. Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna will be a part of the shoot and hence security has been beefed up on the sets to avoid any kind of interruption. Thalapathy 66 has already created tremendous buzz on social media.
The film’s music is composed by Thaman and features a stellar star cast, which includes Prabhu, Jaya Sudha, Sangeeta and Sham.
Recently, Prakash Raj shared on Twitter that he is going to star in Thalapathy 66 as well. Prakash Raj tweeted a picture of himself with Vijay and wrote, “Hi Chellam. We are back Thalapathy 66.

Earlier this year, the film’s Muhurta Puja took place in Chennai. Rashmika and Vijay attended the occasion. Rashmika posted pictures from the event on Instagram, sharing her fan girl moment after meeting Thalapathy Vijay.
According to reports, Vijay Thalapathy will play a dual role in 66, which is being bankrolled by Dil Raju and Shirish from Sri Venkateswara Creations.
