News18 Shosha Reel Awards concluded on Saturday night Sidharth Malhotra Best Actor Award for Shershaah. The award was presented to him by none other than Vikram Batra’s brother Vishal Batra. While Sidharth and Vishal shared heartwarming moments on stage, Vishal took to Instagram to wish his ‘reel brother’. For the unaware, Siddharth played the role of Vikram Batra in Shershaah.
Sharing a picture with the actor, Vishal wrote, “Absolute joy and happiness to present the Best Actor award for “Shershaah” to my favorite Sidharth Malhotra at the CNN News 18 ShowSharil Awards 2023 in a glittering ceremony at Tajlands Mumbai.” …. Siddharth’s performance in Shershaah is one of his performances till date. The actor brought tears to his eyes with his portrayal of Param Vir Chakra (PVC) awardee Vikram Batra, who became the face of the Kargil war. Siddharth’s character not only won the hearts of the fans but also received a lot of love from the Batra family.
The film will also be special for Siddharth’s fans as he fell in love Kiara Advani while making the film. The actress played his on-screen love, Dimple Chinna.
