New Zealand took unilateral stand, they will hear us in ICC: PCB chief Rameez Raja Cricket News – Times of India

Karachi: Angry over New Zealand’s decision to skip their current tour of Pakistan citing security threat, PCB chairman Ramiz Raja Threatened to drag the matter on Friday ICCWhich, interestingly, is currently headed by a New Zealander.
New Zealand called off the tour just before the start of the first ODI here as the host board cited security threats.
It was New Zealand’s first tour of Pakistan in 18 years and the series consisted of three ODIs and five T20 Internationals.
“It’s been a crazy day! So sorry for the fans and our players. It’s very disappointing to walk out of the tour taking a unilateral view on the security threat. Especially when it’s not shared!! What world is New Zealand living in?? NZ will hear us at ICC,” tweeted King.

New Zealand Cricket Chief Executive David White issued a statement saying it was not possible to continue the tour given the advice he was receiving from his government. The Black Caps have been here since September 11.
It remains to be seen how much impact the PCB’s appeal has in the ICC as the game’s governing body is currently headed by a New Zealander in Greg Barkley.
