New York’s worst dog dressed in adorable costumes to attend city’s Halloween dog parade

New York’s Cutest Dogs Attend the 31st Annual Tompkins Square Halloween Dog Parade on Saturday.

The parade, touted as the ‘world’s largest dog costume parade’, was back this year after being canceled last year. coronavirus Global pandemic.

Hundreds of people flocked to the East River Amphitheater to see the puppies and their owners in their most festive Halloween costumes.

Contestants competed for prizes in multiple categories, including cutest outfit and most creative.

The winner of the scariest category was a large dog dressed as Disney’s Maleficent, the mighty fairy who cursed Princess Aurora for pricking her finger on a spinning wheel and sleeping for many years.

Other costumes include a mailman, Star Wars characters and a group of monarch butterflies, as well as Thing 1 and Thing 2 of Dr. Seuss’s The Cat in the Hat.

Jenna DeAngelis, who served as one of the parade’s judges, said it was challenging to select this year’s winners.
