Manjinder Sirsa said that Kuljinder Singh was posted as DSP Detective of Mohali at the behest of Sarbjit Singh, the main accused in the Bhola drug case. Sarbjit is also a dismissed policeman. Sarbjit had claimed in the leaked audio of his conversation with the then DGP Siddharth Chattopadhyay that he had full faith in Kuljinder. He can carry out any illegal operation.

NIA is also investigating the relationship with terrorists and drug smugglers
Sirsa claimed that Kuljinder Singh was posted in Mohali only on the behest of jailed drug smuggler Sarbjit Singh. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is also probing his links with drug smugglers and terrorists. Sirsa cited the call recording leak in a newspaper and said that drug smuggler Sarbjit is asking the then DGP of Punjab to post Kuljinder Singh as DSP of Mohali.
