The Netflix Play Something feature can be accessed through a new button on the home screen. This comes after the user has logged into the app and selected his profile. The “Play something” button appears on the bottom right corner, above the bottom menu bar. The Play Something button hovers over the contents of the Home screen. It’s essentially a shuffled play button that plays the movie or TV show the app thinks you want to watch. Netflix algorithms will play content based on the user’s viewing behavior and interests.
