Nepal Earthquake: Two mild earthquakes of less than 5.0 magnitude struck central Nepal early on Thursday. According to the National Center for Seismology, the first quake measured 4.9 on the Richter scale and was felt in Nepal’s Kaski district and surrounding areas. The tremors of the earthquake were felt at 3:56 am on Thursday.

The epicenter of that earthquake was in Dhampas of Machapurchhare Rural Municipality-7 in Kaski district.

The tremors were felt in Baglung, Parbat, Mayagadi and Tanhun districts.

Hours later, another mild tremor measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale was also recorded by the National Center for Earthquake Monitoring and Research, with its epicenter at 7:22 am (NST) at Thumi in Gorkha district.

There is no report of any damage or casualties due to the earthquake so far.
