NEP: AISA opposes Nepal, demands rollback. Ranchi News – Times of India

Ranchi: Protest against Congress continues national education policy ,NEPThe All India Students’ Union (AISA) on Sunday highlighted its national signature campaign against the policy and demanded its withdrawal.
Addressing the media here, National Spokesperson of AISA Prasenjit Kumar He said, “India is the world’s largest democracy, has the largest number of youth and yet it has brought an education that will impact the youth. Under the NEP, the MPhil course is to be discontinued. PhD is the only option but Its seats are very few. “The government’s NEP is exclusionary and denies equal access to education to weaker sections of the society,” he said.
Kumar also said that the central government should increase the budgetary allocation for education from the current 3% to at least 10%.
AISA State Secretary in his address Trilokinath Highlighting the dilapidated condition of educational institutions of Jharkhand. He claimed that students in Garhwa and Palamu are demanding inter college in the district, but the government is not paying heed to their voices. He further said that the government hostels and messes for Dalit and Adivasi students are dilapidated as the authorities have no “concern” for the marginalized students.
Triloki said, “A country with alarming hunger deaths and high poverty rates cannot afford digital gadgets to maintain the government’s digital policies on education. We are fighting systemic oppression and marginalization from marginalized communitis.”
