Bharti narrates the story from the disappearance of the family to the march to justice. He said, ‘I come from a poor family. Because of this, I had to work in Pithampur, away from Nemavar. On 14 May 2021, I came home and called my mother, but the phone was not received. After this called other family members, but the phone still did not ring. When the call was not received even on the second day, on May 16, I called my cousin Santosh and told the whole thing. Sent his friend home at Nemavar bus stand. Neighbors here said that on the night of May 13, all the members of the family were seen going in a four wheeler. After this I reached Nemavar on 17th May.

Collected information from neighbors, but no one in the village knew anything. After that reached the police station. Filed a missing report here. The police reached the house on the evening of 17 May. When he reached inside the house after breaking the lock, he saw all the things in order.

The main accused is associated with Hindu organization
It was revealed in the murder that the main accused Surendra Kesaria is an office-bearer of a Hindu organization. He along with his friends killed 5 people and buried the bodies in the field. The main accused had a love affair with the deceased Rupali. Surendra’s marriage was fixed elsewhere. Girlfriend Rupali was pressurizing him for marriage. Surendra killed and buried Rupali, mother Mamta Bai, sister Divya, Mamta’s niece’s son Pawan and Pooja with the help of his brother Virendra Rajput, 2 servants and 2 friends. Bharti is the only survivor in this family.

SMS came from Rupali’s phone missing
On the morning of May 19, a message comes from the mobile phone of the missing Rupali, in which it is written that Didi, don’t worry about us, we have gone away. After this, Bharti kept talking to Rupali through messages, but the phone was not working. Only messages were coming. Bharti immediately went to the police station and told the police that Rupali’s mobile has been activated. Can trace the location, but no one listened and drove him away. On the evening of May 19, a call came from the police station that Surendra had been called. You also come. Talk face to face. After this, Surendra shows the phone to Bharti and said that look, this is the message of your sister in this… your brother kills her.

After missing, the message came from Rupali’s mobile.

Police swung into action after CM helpline
After this Bharti reached the house at Nemavar. He got the number of the advocate. He advised to complain on CM helpline. The next day the police reached Harda with Bharti and Surendra. Here Rupali lived in the house where her landlord said that Surendra is Rupali’s husband. Ask him, everything will spill out. Bharti alleged that the policemen kept her mobile while taking her to Harda. He also treated him like an accused all the way.

Surendra’s father had come home two days before he went missing.
Bharti’s neighbors had to say that on May 11, Surendra’s father had reached his house. Where the family was threatened and said that explain to Rupali or else they will destroy the family, but the neighbors were constantly avoiding giving any statement to the police. Because of Surendra Rajput’s political grip, he had a clout in the village and no one was ready to speak against him.

Bharti said that at present the accused are behind bars, but till they are not hanged, I will keep fighting.
