Significantly, the England crowd was trying to skin the Indian team, especially captain Kohli. Wagner revealed that he started singing ‘Zombie’ to improve Kohli.

“Yeah, the crowd started singing zombies… They were singing, ‘Kohli in your head, Kohli in your head, Kohli.’ So they were trying to get a little bit under Kohli’s skin and Kohli kept giving them around, giving them fingers. Then Devon Conway has a song going on as a way of supporting, he started singing him,” as quoted by Hindustan Times.

Wagner went on to say that Kiwi players started singing on the plane and in the changing room as well. “And in the changing room, and even on the plane, we all of a sudden started singing … I think Tim Southee’s phone was out and zombies started playing on his phone and every Someone laughed and started singing along to the song,” he added.

Meanwhile, former Pakistan captain Salman Butt believes that Kohli should learn from his counterpart Kane Williamson.

“You can be a very good captain but if you don’t win a title, the public won’t remember you. Maybe you’re a good captain and you have good plans, but maybe your bowlers are on that. Couldn’t execute. So luck has to support it too. People only remember those who win tournaments,” Butt said on his YouTube channel.
