It is being told that Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are going to get married this week. Ahead of the wedding, a video of Neetu Kapoor exchanging traditional Punjabi dialects enthusiastically has surfaced online.
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt may reportedly tie the knot this week. With the speculations about their wedding date continuing, Neetu Kapoor is keeping silence. Though she has already made several public appearances since the wedding rumors took hold, Neetu refuses to confirm. However, now a new video has surfaced online, which shows that whatever the wedding date, Neetu is already in the mood for marriage.
The actress is one of the judges of the dance reality show, Dance Deewane Juniors. A new promo of the show was released online and it featured the actress exchanging traditional Punjabi wedding folk ‘boliyas’ (couplets) with the show’s Punjabi host Karan Kundra. Couplets are commonly heard in Punjabi music festivals. How well she knows Boliya and her enthusiasm, there’s no doubt that there’s going to be a ball at Alia’s mother-in-law’s wedding soon!
According to reports, Ranbir and Alia are getting married on April 14. The wedding is reportedly taking place at Ranbir’s Bandra residence Vastu. Videos of their home, RK House in Chembur, RK Studio and Krishna Raj Kapoor bungalow being decorated before the wedding. The paparazzi also shared videos in which Ranbir’s house was being covered with massive curtains for privacy reasons.
HT City reported that a small ‘baraat’ procession will leave for Ranbir-Alia’s wedding venue at noon on April 14. The cremation will continue till evening. Before the wedding, the couple will host a mehendi ceremony, followed by a haldi ceremony on April 13 and the first half of April 14, respectively. All events are said to be completely private, with only family members and close friends attending. Ranbir’s best friend, filmmaker Ayan Mukerji is said to be on the guest list. IndiaToday.in has also reported that the couple is planning to host two wedding receptions.
