NEET UG counseling extended, candidates demand clarity

The continuous delay in counseling has disappointed NEET aspirants. Several students shared their concerns on social media and demanded that the MCC should give a clear answer as to when the counseling process would start.

Sharing his concern with MCC, a candidate wrote, “Dear MCC, please at least put some updates regarding NEETUG2021 counseling in the notice board. We have already lost almost 4 months in this year’s academic session. Start AIQ counseling as early as possible.”

50 percent of the total seats under PG courses and 15 percent of all seats in undergraduate degree colleges come under all seats. India quota (AIQ) which is administered centrally.

Another candidate wrote that the continuous delay in the counseling process is ruining their future.

The students demanded MCC and the government should clear the air of confusion regarding the counseling process and give a definite date when the process would start. Some Twitter users requested the PM Narendra Modi Intervene in this matter and make sure to start the admission process at the earliest.

“Young doctors should get justice at the earliest. Narendra Modi ji, there is a shortage of doctors in our country, this delay in NEET-UG 2021 will have a devastating impact on the health of citizens while the pandemic is around the corner.”
