NEET PG 2023 cut-off for general category candidates is 50th percentile, while for reserved category the cut-off is 40th percentile

The Medical Counseling Committee will soon release the detailed schedule for the same. National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Postgraduate Counseling. The exam authority will also start the NEET PG Round 1 Counseling 2023. Last year, NEET PG conducted four rounds of counseling schedule i.e. Round 1, Round 2, AIQ Mop-up Round and AIQ Stray Vacancy Round.

The schedule for NEET PG 2023 counseling will be posted on the official website of MCC at mcc.nic.in. All applicants who meet the requirements of All India Quota seats on the basis of their performance in NEET PG of National Board of Examinations (NBE) will be eligible to participate in the counseling process. Candidates are advised that the email address and mobile number provided in the online NBE application form will be used to register for the counseling session on the MCC portal.

Main counseling of NEET PG 2023 involves payment of non-refundable Registration fee and refundable security deposit. The security deposit will be refunded only to the account from which the payment has been made. Other process of NEET PG 2023 includes exercise of choices and locking of choices, process of seat allotment round-1, publication of round-1 result on MCC website and reporting at allotted medical/dental college for first round.

The Medical Counseling Committee website www.mcc.nic.in is the only website to register for NEET-PG counseling services offered by MCC. Any other mode of submission of registration will be summarily rejected. The previous year cut-off for general category was 275 marksS. It was 245 for SC, ST and OBC and 260 for general-PH category candidates. Through NEET PG, 26,168 Doctor of Medicine (MD), 13,649 Master of Surgery (MS), 922 PG Diploma and 1,338 DNB CET seats are filled in medical colleges. The seat allotment will be done on the basis of NEET PG 2023 result, choices filled by the candidates, availability of seats, reservation criteria and other relevant factors.
