Neeraj Chopra’s Operation Romeo is a dark thriller and keeps you hooked

Operation Romeo, a remake of the Malayalam film Ishq: Not a Love Story, explores the theme of moral policing. Operation Romeo is a romantic thriller and watchers can dive into the world of a couple subjected to moral policing.

The flick is directed by Neeraj Chopra, who has also directed films like A Wednesday, Baby and Special Ops. Neeraj will live up to the expectations of the audience. The culmination of love, mystery and violence will leave an indelible mark on the audience.

The project is set in a contemporary and relatable space. Siddhant Gupta plays the male protagonist Aditya, an IT guy. Vedika Pinto plays the female lead Neha, a university student. Slowly, they cross each other’s paths.

Both spend time with each other on Lady Love Aditya’s birthday. Neha, who lives in the hostel, seeks permission from the warden to stay outside. They both hang out and have fun. But in the dark night when the world sleeps, Neha and Aditya’s life changes forever.

The couple, played by Sharad Kelkar and Kishore Kadam, is caught cheating by the police. Both justified their challenging role. These two cops try to harass the couple. Police personnel make videos of the two hugging each other and then ask the couple a variety of personal questions.

These scenes are followed by a twist in the plot which will open doors for Bhumika Chawla’s character. Operation Romeo portrayed her role as weak and strong. Operation Romeo depicts both danger and authority.
