New Delhi: Neeraj Bishnoi, the alleged mastermind and creator of the ‘Bully Bye’ application, has revealed that he had a habit of hacking the websites of schools and universities in both India and Pakistan, police officials said on Saturday.

According to the police, during interrogation, Bishnoi also revealed that he was also in touch with the person behind the Twitter handle @sullideals, the alleged creator of the ‘Sully Deals’ app created on GitHub in July last year, reported news agency PTI. gave information.

Neeraj Bishnoi, 21, was arrested by the Delhi Police from Assam for allegedly listing hundreds of Muslim women for “auction” on the “Bully Bai” app on the Github platform.

Police said Bishnoi’s claim of being in touch with the creator of the ‘Sully Deals’ app is being verified, further technical analysis is being done and forensic examination of the equipment is underway.

“During interrogation, Bishnoi has revealed that he has a habit of hacking and distorting websites. He has been learning it since the age of 15. He hacked or defaced various websites of schools and universities in India as well as Pakistan. Their claims of hacking websites,” Deputy Commissioner of Police (Intelligence Fusion and Strategic Operations) KPS Malhotra was quoted as saying by PTI.

It was revealed that Bishnoi is inclined towards the Japanese animated gaming character ‘Giyu’. He had created various Twitter handles using the term and used one such account to challenge the law enforcement agencies to nab him.

The various Twitter handles created by him include – @giyu2002, @giyu007, @giyuu84, @giyu94 and @giyu44.

On January 3, Neeraj created the account @giyu44 to defame the arrest made by Mumbai Police in the case, while openly challenging the law enforcement agencies to nab him.

According to the police, he has further revealed that he was in touch with those arrested by the Mumbai Police and used to chat through Twitter.

He had never met the other accused arrested in the case and did not even have their contact numbers. He also revealed that he was using the Twitter account of Shweta arrested by Mumbai Police, he said, as reported by PTI.

Neeraj Bishnoi trying to delay investigation, threatened to commit suicide: Police

The official further said that Neeraj Bishnoi is trying to delay the investigation and is not cooperating. The police claimed that he also tried to harm himself twice and threatened to commit suicide.

It was told that full care is being taken of him in custody. He has been medically examined and is stable and healthy. It could be because of his mental state or it could be that he wanted to delay the investigation, police officials said.

Later, in a statement, the police said that during monitoring of social media, it was revealed that two websites were claiming that they had interviewed Bishnoi a few hours before his arrest.

“It is clarified that accused Neeraj Bishnoi was disturbed after the arrest of three of his followers namely Vishal, Shweta and Mayank Rawal. He wanted to divert the attention of the media by telling Vishal and Shweta to be innocent.

“To publicize this fact, they had created the Twitter account @giyu44 and started sharing screenshots of the code creation and the email accounts they used to build the code on GitHub,” it added.

Bishnoi had received mail from GitHub on the email account used by him as a policy measure on GitHub, that he had received an information request from a law enforcement agency.

According to the police statement, “To support his claim of creating the ‘Bully Bye’ app and to prove the innocence of the accused arrested earlier, he had shared login details, email details and screenshots on Shubham Sharma and also on Twitter. “.

“Bishnoi deliberately shared the details to gain publicity on Sharma and Twitter. He had shared only partial details to support his claim of the app being built. He also contacted them through VPN so that he could not be traced. He was challenging the law enforcement agencies to nab him,” police was quoted as saying by PTI.

Accused in ‘bully bye’ app case

The Special Cell of Delhi Police had arrested Neeraj Bishnoi from Assam, calling him the main creator of the app. He is reported to be the main conspirator – the creator of ‘Bully Bye’ on GitHub and the main Twitter account holder of the app.

Other accused include Vishal Kumar Jha, an engineering student from Bengaluru, Shweta Singh and Mayank Rawal from Uttarakhand.

All three have been sent to police custody till January 10.
