Prime Minister Narendra Modi and NCP supremo Sharad Pawar sat on a face-to-face meeting on Wednesday, where the veteran Maharashtra leader discussed the problems of the people of Lakshadweep. The meeting created buzz in political circles and lasted for 20 to 25 minutes.
There was a meeting between Pawar and Prime Minister Modi in Parliament. ED is probing several MVA leaders. Two NCP leaders are already behind bars. Pawar confirmed the meeting but did not divulge further details. “I met the PM today and we discussed many issues which we are facing,” he said.
